NRW.BANK is hosting the 18th edition of the NRW Private Equity Conference on 23 May 2024 at the Rheinterrasse Düsseldorf under the title "Artificial intelligence - secure implementation, smart financing, sensible application". The event starts at 2 pm and ends at 6.30 pm with a get-together afterwards. Admission is from 1 pm. The conference will focus on approaches, solutions and financing opportunities in the field of AI.
Various lectures, discussion panels and talks with well-known experts from politics, business and science are planned. Well-known speakers include Spiegel columnist and digitalisation expert Sascha Lobo and economist Prof. Dr Jens Südekum, member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection. Mona Neubaur, Minister for Economic Affairs, Industry, Climate Protection and Energy and Deputy Prime Minister of North Rhine-Westphalia, will open the event.
Around 40 young and innovative companies will once again present their business projects at the marketplace for venture capital. At the international pitch, exciting start-ups from Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium will face the audience's vote and at the speed dating event, start-ups and investors will go in search of the perfect match.
The event is organised in cooperation with the German Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (BVK) and the Private Equity-Forum NRW e. V.
