With this digital information event on October 14, the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (DIHK) offers you an insight into initial practical experiences with the implementation of the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS).
The so-called Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) is concretized by the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). Those companies that have already had to submit non-financial statements in recent years are already required to report in accordance with the ESRS for the current financial year. All other large companies must prepare a sustainability report as part of the management report for the first time for the 2025 financial year.
Following a direct experience report from a company by Katrin Discher, responsible for sustainability at the TRILUX Group, WP/StB Georg Lanfermann, President, and Dr. Kati Beiersdorf, Technical Director, from the German Accounting Standards Committee (GASC) will report on the discussions at the GASC on the ESRS and other publications by the European standard setter, EFRAG.
Participants in the event will also have the opportunity to help determine the topics by asking questions when registering for the event or reporting which application issues are of most interest to them. The focus of the pool of questions received during registration will then also be taken into account at the event.
You can register until October 10, 2024. After your registration you will receive a registration confirmation with a team link.
