The BDI's current transformation study puts the investment requirement for Germany at 1.4 trillion euros by 2030. The majority of this will be made in the private sector, and companies will need appropriate financing for this. They are therefore faced with the business task of integrating the measures required for decarbonization into their investment planning. What specific investment needs will arise for companies as a result of the ecological transformation and how can they cover them? What opportunities and what interest do financial institutions have in including their business customers' transformation projects in their portfolio?
The opportunities and challenges that sustainable finance brings for companies and financial institutions and the role that sustainability plays in this will be the topic of the next edition of the “Macher*innen und Problemlöser*innen” (Doers and Problem Solvers) dialog series organized by the Unternehmensnetzwerk Klimaschutz (UNK). It will take place on December 13 between 12:30 and 13:30 digitally via MS Teams with the participation of
- Felix Schwörer, Sustainability Manager at Schwörer Haus
- Mieke Lindner, Corporate Customers Division, Sustainability, Public Funding and Leasing Department at Hamburger Sparkasse
